We chose to use simple aluminium tubing as it is not only lightweight but also strong.

Chain Guide

The fully enclosed chainguard is fitted to make sure children do not put their fingers in the between the chain and chain ring. We also fit a simpler double chainguard which is located under the full guard for those who would like something a little lighter. This doesn't have the same level of protection but does prevent the chain from coming off and trousers getting caught.

Brakes

To ensure the brakes are easy to operate and efficient the Trace is fitted with alloy junior Tektro brake levers which have reach adjustment. These are paired with an alloy v-brake which gives a great stopping power.

Type: Rim

Tires

The Kenda small block 8 tyres offer great versatility over multiple terrains. They are great on tarmac surfaces with low rolling resistance but offer good grip on dirt.
